It's official: My biographical profile will be published in Marquis Who's Who in the World 2008

I would like to inform my online community that my biographical profile has been selected for publication in the 25th Silver Anniversary Edition of the Marquis Who's Who in the World. Part of the letter that brought this good news reads:

Dear Clement Nthambazale Nyirenda

Congratulations! Because of the reference value of your outstanding achievements, Marquis Who's Who has selected your biographical profile for inclusion in the 25th Silver Anniversary Edition of the Who's Who in the World.

This special anniversary edition will feature biographies of more than 50,000 of the most accomplished men and women from around the globe and across all fields of endeavor. It is a testament to you hard work and dedication to success that you have earned a place in Who's Who in the World. You should be proud of your achievement.

I would like to thank God for this major milestone in my career. I have been receiving requests from Marquis Who's Who to submit my biography to them for the past three years but I have always thought that I do not have enough achievements to find a place in such a prestigious directory of biographies. However, after being encouraged by various friends and upon seeing my venerable brother Dr Matthews Mtumbuka featuring in this year's edition of the Who's Who in the World, I thought of giving it a try. After all, I lose nothing in case I am not selected. Besides that no one would know anything about it since the process is done online. Now, I am elated because I have made it. Now that my works are recognized at world level, I will work even harder to achieve greater things in life.

Dear Clement Nthambazale Nyirenda,

It was just incidental that I came across this blog roll and was really happy at your achievement. Please accept my sincere congratulations for your success and best wishes for many more.
I am curious though, as I too have received a similar confirmation for this 25 th edition. I am a practicing doctor. Wanted to know what it means to be listed in the Who's Who of the World and how does it transform our life (if it does). Does it really help in one's life to be included in such a publication and if so, please let me know? There is hardly any change in either my life or behaviour, or for that matter the behaviour of colleagues and other acquaintances.

Would appreciate if you could respond.

Warm regards.
